The board wishes to thank Lana Nassen for her service as volunteer coordinator.  We welcome Nicole Hurt who will complete the year in that position. 

Plans for the Service Auction are well underway.  Be sure to get your tickets for dinner and entertainment and fill out forms indicating what you'd like to offer.

The board and Michael will be scheduling a meeting with Nancy Bowen from the Mountain Desert District as part of the start-up process for new ministers. 

Since our accompanist, MaryBeth Coulter, will accompany the choir one Sunday a month, she will be paid an additional $25 per month for the additional responsibility. 

The board met twice during October to devote a significant block of time to addressing our space needs, particularly with respect to our religious education program, need for office space, and the need to provide Michael with a private and confidential setting to meet with folks.  Part of this discussion revolved around the logistics of sharing our space with the Creative Living Church as both congregations experience growth.

The next board meeting will be Thursday, October 30^th at 6:30pm.
